4070 Confederation Parkway, also known as The Grand Residences, was the second tower to be built for the Parkside Village Condos community. This tower is the only building that fronts on Confederation Parkway, and hosts a number of retail shops at the lobby level. It’s located directly across the street from The YMCA, and is steps to Celebration Square, the Mississauga Central Library, and Square One Shopping Centre.

This building boasts 45 floors with a total of 455 units, and share amenities with the other two towers in the complex, including an exercise room with weights and a yoga floor, a cardio room with equipment, an indoor pool, a music room, an internet cafe room, a party room, a theatre, a kids playroom, a games room with a billiard table, a 4th floor terrace, and guest suites.

The underground parking goes down 5 levels, and includes paid visitor and retail parking on P1. The entrance to the parking garage is located on Brickstone Mews, behind Confederation Parkway.

Maintenance fees in the building cover heat, water, building insurance, parking, and common elements. Expect to pay your own hydro costs.

Known as The Grand Residences, 4070 Confederation is the centre tower with the lobby fronting on Confederation Parkway. The tower boasts a Starbucks on the ground level, including a medical clinic and pharmacy, Panago Pizza, convenience store, and a Royal Bank Branch that has no wait times.

Great improvements!
The building's entrance has recently been redecorated and is very nice! Also, the wallpaper and carpet on each level have been replaced and look great! Elevator service is normal wait time as I have experienced in other such buildings. Overall improvements are very welcoming. This residential condo building is also centrally located in downtown Mississauga.

Horrible experience
Current resident: The carpets in hallway are dirty on all floors. Smells of trash most times. Can smell it even in car with windows closed. Walls are peeling. Wall behind wallpaper are dirty. Elevator wait is very long. Very embarrassing to bring guest in to see the dirty, nasty carpets in hallway

Horrible management and builder
The builder used cheap materials, repairs required constantly. Dont buy here reviews from other sites document these issues as well. The elevator are always out of service some only 1 out of 4 elevators will be operating for over 40 floors. Expect long lineups, I often times just take the stairs. Lastly, the building has horrible sound proofing.

Management is struggles to handle residents concerns in a timely matter, even when they cut out dry wall in your unit to check the fan coil, and don't fix it immediately. In general for any repair do not expect a contractor to come for weeks. You can expect to be looking at blue tape all around your unit for a while until they finally call in a contractor to repair the work. They will butcher all residents units to check if things that are working when the are just fine. They do not care if your home or not. These are yearly practices, so expect notice of entry emails or reminders posted on your door. Stay far away if you value your time and sanity.

Hello,

I am a realtor. I had a showing today with my clients. My showing was at unit 2107 at 12:07 PM. I went The security guard did not accept my real estate license on my phone which did not make any sense. I gave my hard copy of my real estate license and the security looked at it and was not giving back my license. I told her that this is my license that you have in your hand and I told her I need it back. She could not understand what I was saying as she was unaware of what to do. She wrote on my license as well which she was not suppose to do. I told her again to give me my license back and finally she gave it back to me looking very confused. The worst experience in a condo with the security ever. Who do I talk to about this? 8

nice building and should we consider change Property management company
i did not get letter on who is boarder an how to ask Property mananger to improve service. the bulding is very nice . but i think the Property manage company need to improve.

Broken Elevators all the time!
I WISH COULD HAVE GIVEN 0 STAR, I am giving 1 star for gym.

All the reviews here are true about elevators breakdown. this building has 4 elevators for 45 floors ,total units 400+ , So you might be thinking already a trouble! Wait....2 elevators are almost broken 20 days a month. I have waited 25-30 minutes many time for elevator. IT'S A BIG BIG PAIN, YOU DON'T WANT TO GET LATE GOING TO OFFICE in the morning, If you are sick just imagine, if you have sick kid just imagine, if you are old and waiting 20+ minutes for elevator just imagine. I WAS LATE IN OFFICE DUE TO THIS ELEVATOR MANY TIME. IT'S VERY FRUSTRATING! everyone goes and complain at concierge and given assurance that it will be fixed but same results. Unit doors are far from soundproof, I could hear even my neighbours talks, Tv etc is normal ... Believe me they are not loud but it's how the doors are here, privacy is on stake!

Facilities-- Gym is good and I have given 1 star for that, Building has swimming pool and Jacuzzi, Sauna. JACUZZI/Sauna is almost broken 10 days a month, swimming pool also closed for months for maintenance during my stay in this building.Be habitual of seeing those notice that Swimming pool is broken, Jacuzzi is broken , Sauna is broken etc etc , sorry for inconvenience!

I like swimming and i chose this building to live considering swimming as one of my regular activity.Management has decided suddenly to have swimming pool open only for women 2 days a week during peek time which is 8 PM to 10 PM. First of all I haven't seen this kind of rule anywhere in Canada. I am not against this decision if some women due to their origin of country and religion they want to swim without male. however I have asked my female friends to check and let me know if anyone is using the facility or not. I found that there are no women or hardly 1-2 women rarely using the swimming pool during this time.

May be it's management trick, they wanted to reduce the uses of swimming/jacuzzi/sauna facility so maintenance will be less. I feel if no women is using the facility just reduce it for one day or at least for one hour a day only for women. At least who wants(male , female, old, young, kids, anyone) to use the facility let them use it, they also pay the rent or own a condo in the building.

These comments here from Chellay89 and Sarah are either management people or they live on 1st or 2nd floor who don't use elevators regularly and not active users of facilities. If you live inside your condo only , then life is good anywhere.

I won't recommend anyone to live here! your daily life will be felt effected...if you are late in reading my review and already bought a condo here or rented. please acknowledge by writing a review or experience so far!

I hope someone from ontario condo controlling government office reads my review and take appropriate actions.

Condo life
Great location! I walk to the mall, grocery store, celebration square, shoppers drug mart, to the doctors and dentist. It's just so easy to get everything I need due to the location. My boyfriend and I can spend an afternoon just walking around square one area and find so much to do. Never any crime or trouble, I feel safe. The building itself is very nice, very quite, never had any issues. The condo itself is very safe and secure, 24hours a day security.

Great location and building, still working out some issues
Building still experiences elevator problems at times, which is extremely frustrating during peak hours. Lots of amenities, pool is never full which is great. Gym could use some more equipment like a benching/squat rack.
